perspective.....

A movie that really changed my perspective of seeing how people view eachother. Rather it being by race, class, and basically by physical appereance. that movie will be Crash. that specific had a great impact and gives out a great message on how people belittle eachother so much, just by one glace, they judge who and what they are without knowing the true story. it really taught me that u can't judge a book by its cover, but to take a chance to know the true story and after that your free to have your opinions.

Affect of how we view the world.......

I've watched many movies, books, and listened to many songs in my life, the one movie that had so much meaning and perspective of life would have to be the movie Crash. the movie gave different point of views from different living class. from that i was able to learn and see how some people may have on others. it opened my eyes to the stereotypical opinions and the judgedment from others just because they base it on their physical appearance. it teaches you to never judge the book by its cover.

pet peeves......

pet peeves is not a really big subject to me... there isnt much that distracts me and innoyes me. for me to choose it i would have to say when people chew with their mouth open. UGH! because they make this wierd and disgusting wet smacking sound effect. its soooo innoying, and when the sound comes out you feel like just starring at their mouth, so you just see everything that you don't really want to! i think that's the only thing that i dislike.

Education.........

Education is a major part of life, there are many things that will be taught in many different perspective, and ways. Taught about many different purposes and reasons. But when you learn something and and is forgotten, it is fact that you did actually learn it, but is hidden some where but just can't found or remembered. when u haven't learned something there is no forgetting, because what is there to forget when it has not been taught and learned?

Expectations......

My expectations from this course is to learn new grammar and/or writting skills that can help me in the long run. Build my writting skills, and be able to provide a positive feedback on my writing skills. My expectations from this course for me is to pass with a B or above, learn new skills that will build my confidence in my own writting skill and will be able to help others improve on their skill as well. What i expect or lets say i would like to see from the professor is to have strong support for their students.......

About Me!!!

Hello, my name is Veara Yang. I am 18 years old and can't wait to turn 19 since it's my golden birthday. Well i was born in Chico, Ca in the year of 1990. I've been living in Minnesota for most of my life, approximately 15 years.

My hobbies and activities are to hang out with my friends, play sports, talk to people, and i try to work out at least 3 times a week. It's hard when there is alot in your hands, but some how squeezing little thing into the schedule that will benefit you is worth it.

I graduated from Harding Senior High School class of 2008. I am a freshman here and enjoying the college life. It is quite different from living at home then transitioning to the dorms, but making a few adjustments its becomes your second home.

When i first began school, i was pretty shy and didn't think i would meet so much people. I always thought that i would be one of those students who keeps themselves locked up in their room, but gladly I'm not. All of the people that I've meet tells me I'm pretty cool to hang around with and really layed back. I'm really glad that they see that part of me because it allow me to open up more socially.
